Saturday - Hungry Bear Update

One of the things discussed was an alternate location for HB Colorado.  Mike said we might put up tables on his outside porch area and do breakfast there.

We also talked about the possibility of Hungry Bear East. One unique thing the Hungry Bear has here is the grilled biscuit.  We have found a restaurant in Raleigh that does none other than . . .   grilled biscuits.  That has to be God.

New to our group were Jonathon, Brenda and Meagan. Welcome to the Hungry Bear.

We miss you Trey, Shannon, Levi and Daniel.

Thursday Afternoon at the Park - UK Reunion

The Terradez family from Walsall, England have arrived and are getting settled for their apprentice year at CBC.  We were missing Aurora, Lois, Bob and Ken but the rest of us had a great time of getting reacquainted with Ashley, Carlie and the kids.  Added to our group were Kim and Mark with their kids.  They will be helping Chris and Tom with the kids at the SFBC.

Shannon, Levi & Trey's Last Hungry Bear Day

Can you believe Daniel crashed the club (we're glad but thought his last day was last Saturday) with his brother David. They're driving back early in the morning. Dickersons, we already miss you. But I know your family is going to enjoy having all your hugs and kisses. Every day we live, we see the world getting smaller and our God getting bigger. So we'll see you soon.

You know the drill.  Update pics on the left.

Trey & Shannon's Party at Ben & Joy's on Sunday

We'll be just a few hours from Trey and Shannon, but we already miss you guys. We're excited to see the great things God is going to do in your lives.  The rest of you will have to carpool out to see how the other half live in the East.  Can't wait to see you there.

Daniel's Last Suppers - Super

Friday Night

Daniel's soon off the Texas and you would think we'd throw him a bar-b-que. But he had the office to his house on Friday night for burgers and brats deluxe. We all had a great time and will miss you Daniel.

See album on the right.

Saturday Night

Meagan and Liz hosted a great Mexican dinner on Saturday for Daniel. Friends from Daniel's New Life Group and CBC/AWMI enjoyed the great food and fellowship with all. Thanks Liz and Meagan. Great evening.

Happy Graduation Lauren

"Thank you for coming to our home today to help celebrate Lauren's high school graduation from The Classical Academy (where she has gone for the last 9 years) and completion of her first year of Charis Bible College," were the the words from Susan to here guests honoring Lauren for her amazing accomplishments.

But more notable are the qualities that we all have seen being built in Lauren over the time we have known her. Lauren is a picture of the Father's grace and unconditional love. She's is a woman of faith who captured our hearts from the very first time we met her. Congratulations, we love you Lauren.

Please comment if you would like.

!!EXCLUSIVE!! Hungry Bear Update

Twenty-one. Count them. Twenty-one hungry mouths showed up at the Hungry Bear today to celebrate. "Celebrate what", you ask? Who needs something to celebrate except fellowshipping with the ones we love. And that we did. (You probly just counted 19, Randy and Melissa left early).

Randy kinda cut back on his vittles today. He must not be working as hard at the depot. All the food looked good and mine was way too much for me. But I dutifully finished it.

Thanks Trisha for serving us. See you next time.

We had some new kids on the block today, including Virginia, Ken, Maggie, Autumn, Ellie, Stacey, Mellisa, Debbie, David and Jim. We missed you Robert, Travis and Vera. Can't wait to see everyone next time.

Just a few more weeks until we loose Daniel to Texas and Trey, Shannon & Levi to Georgia. Everyone asks if we are going to miss them when they leave. And, of course, the answer is yes. But imagine, we all have two new places to travel to. And we will all soon meet again. See ya'll here, there, or in the air!
