Travis, Randy, Melissa, Shannon, Daniel, Robert, Levi, Trey, JoElla, Kendall, Vera, Kiah and Sherryl all pigged out at the Hungry Bear restaurant in Woodland Park Saturday morning at breakfast. The sausage gravy is the best. Randy has the record for the most pancakes consumed. Melissa was a great support for Randy. We might have left early in the morning but it took him quiet a while to down all four very large pancakes, not to mention his bowl-of-grits appetizer, four eggs, four slices of bacon, and extra crisp hashbrowns. They call it the 4x4x4. I think Randy is the only one of us that really worked on Saturday and surely burned it off by about noon.
Trey and Shannon are amazing with Levi. Levi is a really adorable 11-month old. He looked a lot like Trey when he was born. We told him that Levi is looking more like his mom now. He said, "Yeah, I've been praying that would happen." We're glad, too. Trey preached on and off and told the story about his dad's pastor who sprayed like an outdoor water sprinkler when he preached. You didn't want to sit on the front row of that church.
Kiah and Sherryl cut up a lot which is evidenced in the photo slide show. Travis promised to get us all a ride on John's jet (this part might be fabricated). Vera enjoyed playing with Levi and Levi loved it. Robert and Daniel hung out in the corner wondering how they could have been left out of the Friday night party where Kendall was the only guy.
Looks like we have a reservation for next Sunday morning while Frances, Sherryl's mom, is here for graduation. See you there!
